Fermentation off-gas analysor BY-001

   BY-001 is a new type of fermentation off-gas analysor developed by Baiyuan Bio, which is specially used for monitoring the growth and metabolism of microorganisms through real-time measuring CO2 and O2 content of fermentation off-gas. Compared with traditional biosensors such as dissolved oxygen probe and pH probe, gasensor can quickly reflect the real situation of microbial organism in fermentation.BY-001 can be widely used in both scientific research and industrial microbial fermentation.
BY-001 can be directly connected to the exhaust pipe of fermentation tank, so as to realize real-time monitoring of fermentation off-gas. Users (researchers or engineers) can calibrate BY-001 at any time without worrying about bacterial contamination. BY-001 is suitable for all kinds of fermenters from research to industrial production.
In process development, BY-001 can help researchers monitor the growth and metabolism status of microorganisms in real time, determine the optimal process conditions such as oxygen supply, stirring, temperature and pH, as well as the optimal nutrition composition and appropriate feed strategy of carbon, nitrogen and micronutrients.
 
In process scale-up, BY-001 can quickly identify the gap of working conditions (agitation, aeration, pH, nutrition and mixing of feeding) between the lab scale bioreactor and the industrial large tank, which can help researchers quickly establish the process control conditions of the large tank.
In industrial fermentation production, BY-001 can help operation team to determine the optimal transfer conditions, optimize aeration and stirring, adjust the feeding strategy, determine the end of fermentation.
